Show content that updates on its own
An ordinary block shows what you typed. A block fed by an integration shows what your account holds <b>right now</b>: publish a video, and your page shows it without you touching anything. You first need a connected account, from the library.
Steps
- Open the page, then Add → Integration.
- Choose what the block will show: an account, and what to look at in it — "The channel", "The latest video", "The live stream"…
- Compose the title and the description. Below each field, the available data is listed: click one to insert it.
- Save. The block joins the page and is assembled every time it is displayed.
The data in curly braces
What you write is a template: {{title}} will be replaced by the title of your latest video, {{subscribers}} by your follower count. You mix text and data freely — "Already {{followers}} followers!" works. Each field only offers the data of the chosen source, and an empty value disappears cleanly, along with the dash or separator that went with it.
The block picture
By default it is the account's: the video thumbnail, the channel picture. Clicking the thumbnail in the table opens the same menu as for your other links — Change picture to replace it with your own, Delete to show none, Use the account picture again to go back. Shape and width are set through Layout, exactly like an ordinary link.
What your visitors see
The block is assembled from the last known content, never by calling the platform: your page stays fast and depends on no one when it loads. The link always leads to the source — the video, the channel, the post. And if the source has nothing to show, the block disappears from the page rather than leaving an empty button.
Editing an existing block
Reopen it with Edit: your title and description templates are there, ready to be rewritten. The account and the source, however, cannot be changed — a block is tied to what it shows. To display something else, add a second block: one account feeds as many as you like.
