Create a page style
A page style holds the header layout, the logo size, the colours, the fonts and the banner. Applied to several pages, it updates them all as soon as you change it: a single set of brand rules to maintain.
Steps
- Open Library in the left-hand menu, Page styles tab.
- Click .
- Give it a name — your brand name, for instance — and confirm.
- Style tab: set the layout, the colours, the fonts and the banner. The preview on the right shows the result on one of your pages, which is not modified.
- Save: every page already linked changes straight away.
From a page you already styled
Open the page, Appearance tab, Style card, Custom choice. At the bottom of the settings, next to Save, click Create a style from this identity and give it a name. The look in place becomes a style in the library, the page is linked to it, and you stay on the page.
The editor’s three tabs
Just like a component: Style for the look, with the preview on the right; Pages for the list of those linked to it, with their views and clicks; Options for the name, the description, duplicating, moving to another environment and deleting.
What the style does not carry
The logo, the name, the description and the links stay with each page: two pages can share a style and keep their own content. The banner, however, belongs to the style, so it is the same everywhere.
