Choose a link's layout
A link is displayed according to two settings: its arrangement and its width. Crossing them gives six presentations.
Steps
- Open your page, Links tab.
- On the link's row, open the … menu on the right.
- Choose Layout.
- Set the arrangement and the width: the preview in the window shows the result. Confirm.
The three arrangements
- List — thumbnail on the left, title and description on the right. This is the default.
- Banner — the image spans the full width, in 16/9, and the title sits below it.
- Square — the same idea as the banner, with a square image: it takes more height and gives the link more prominence.
The width
Every arrangement comes in full width or half width. At half width, two links sit side by side on the same row — two thumbnails, two banners or two squares.
Straight from the preview
You can also grab the corner of a link in the preview on the right and drag: left for half width, down to go from list to banner and then to square, up to step back. The shape changes one step at a time and a pill names the one you have just reached. The change is saved when you let go, with nothing to confirm.
